Please be aware of the Nut Policy and avoid bringing foods such as peanut paste, nutella and products with nuts in them to school. It is essential that you let me know if your child does have these in their lunchboxes so that students with allergies are safe.
In Accelerated Literacy this term we are reading “The Little Red Hen“.
Swimming Carnival was a huge sucess on Thursday. The students all had a great time. A big Thank You to all the parents and grandparents for coming along and a big Thank You to all the teachers for organising the day. Well Done.
Craft & Easter Electives are now going to be held on Friday 14th March because it is too hot for Sport Electives.
We are reading “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” in our class for Accelerated Literacy.
Sue Record is coming to visit us this week. She teaches the teachers how to teach AL.
Because of the hot weather last week, swimming carnival was postponed. It is now next week on Thursday 20th March.
Acquaintance Night is being held on Monday 25th from 7pm to 8.30pm. Please come in and have a look around.
We are looking for helpers to come in for an hour some mornings and listen to reading. The more practice that children get at reading the quicker they will improve.
We have swimming lessons everday from Monday 25th to Friday 29th February (10.10-11.10am).
